About Josie π
πΊπ‘πΊ SE QLD - MEET GORGEOUS JOSIE-JOSEPHINE πΊπ‘πΊ
In other news, resident pug Josephine is looking to recruit her new family. Josie is a very playful and cheery girl, about 1 Β½ years old and of the fuller size! She has been working on her weight through two walks a day and loves to walk beside you sniffing and prancing along πΎ
Josie will not immediately like everyone she meets but is getting used to other people and dogs in her space. With a bit of fine tuning, she will soon happily meet and greet new friends in the street π
Her skills include mini soccer and she loves to play with a tennis ball, and as long as you are near and playing with her, she is very happy. Her fetch and retrieve skills are phenomenal and she will play till she is exhausted β½
Josie is hoping to find a family that will dote on her as she is a very attentive little character, a family that are home more often than not as she does display separation stress π
Josie would prefer a household with no other dogs, as she can sometimes display gentle dominating traits to other dogs. If hoping to adopt with another pug or dog, subtle expose to her proposed mate will be a good idea πΆ
Josie will never be far away from you and likes to be seated on top of your lap at all times during the day. Due to her need to be with you, a family that is home all day and only leaves her for short periods would be best.
Josie likes children and has been living with cats in her foster home and has shown no issues with either πββ¬πΆ
Her desex and nares surgery were completed together, and her Vet has indicated that there are no health issues for her. Josie savours her meals and likes to taste every bite carefully, as if itβs the most delicious meal she has ever eaten. Josie responds best to love and attention rather than food which is a lovely personality trait of hers.
Her toileting habits are not quite up to scratch and more work is needed π½π§»
Careful training with a doggie door will be required as well as help in learning to use the grass. This is a work in progress but as Josie is very smart, it wonβt take too long.
