About Lucy - 4 Year Old Jack Russell X Pug (Trial)
Meet Lucy! Don’t let the frown fool you. Lucy is a sweet, affectionate lady who will steal your heart with her endearing under bite.
Lucy is an adorable snuggler with the energy of a JRT. While she's perfectly content to snooze in the sun with her foster siblings, explore her backyard, or embark on adventures (commonly known as walks to the dog park), her deepest affection is reserved for time with her humans. Lucy happily spends her days napping beside you while you work from home and is always ready to accompany you wherever you go, ensuring you're never alone.
She knows basic commands, such as “sit” but when she is excited, forgets that she knows them. Lucy is house trained and confident using the doggy doors.
Lucy LOVES people. She can be a little insistent in seeking attention and enthusiastically throws herself into saying hello. Due to this, she would be best suited to a home with children 5 years or older.
Lucy can find pushy, strong-willed dogs and ultra-submissive ones a bit challenging, although she currently resides harmoniously with two Maltese crossbreed dogs, and has slipped seamlessly into their pack. She exhibits no signs of aggression over food or treats and is more than happy to dine alongside her foster siblings, even sharing her food if they happen to wander by.
Lucy hasn’t been tested with pocket pets but lived with cats before coming into care. If you are on the couch, expect to have a cuddle buddy. She currently sleeps on the end of the bed with her foster siblings, as her preference is to be as close to you as possible.
The ideal home for Lucy would include a canine companion, treat her as a cherished family member, and involve her in all family activities. Lucy is an indoor dog and must be permitted indoors, especially when people are at home, and for sleeping indoors as well.
Lucy is in foster care in Maryland, NSW. She is available for adoption interstate. Her adoption fee is $600 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
