About Diamond
Diamond is a collared dove who is looking for the perfect forever home. He is a bit of a bully to other doves and overly obsessive with female doves. He would NOT suit an aviary with other doves.
He would ideally love a safe indoor home where he can bond with a human. He is not fully tame but he would learn over time as trust is built with him. Time spent free flying in a house would be perfect for him.
He likes to coo a lot, including during the night. He therefore needs a home that isn’t bothered by his sound.
He also enjoys a healthy diet of seeds and vegetable chop.
He will not be adopted out to a breeder or any other home that looks to exploit him in any way.

Adoption details
After you make contact via the enquiry button, we will send you an application form that is required to be completed in full. By providing as much detail as possible, we are able to gage how well your circumstances will fit your possible new friend. You will be notified of the outcome of your application.
All animals are adopted, never sold, and an adoption contract is required in each case.
We generally bring the animal(s) to you and reserve the right the inspect the housing and garden at this time. That marks the beginning of a 30 day trial adoption period.
We are committed to supporting you throughout the life of the animal you adopt, so we are here for advice or assistance where possible. We want you and your new family member to have a long happy life together so we will do what we can to ensure this.
