✨🐣 EASTER ADOPTION FEE SPECIAL 🐣✨
🌟🎼 MEET BENNY 🎼🌟
He's got fluffy boots, tuxedo suits,
You know I read it in a magazine, ohhhh..
B-B-B-Benny is the best...
Bennyyyyy, Bennyyyyy,
Benny is the bestttt!
Fun fact - Elton John actually wrote that song for me but he thought other cats would get jealous so changed it. True story. Anyway, it's been a hot minute since I graced you all with my presence so I thought it was about time I re-introduced myself!
Nature
Everyone got their tissues ready? Good. My life started off like so many stray kitties out there: cold, hungry and alone. I was hours from being euthanised when thankfully an Angel whisked me away to safety. The first few months were a scary and lonely time while I adjusted to domesticated life. I didn't like or trust my new pawrents and relied heavily on my foster siblings for comfort. Fast forward two years and I am a completely different kitty. I have learnt to love my new life and continue to build confidence every day.
I love to be at the centre of where everything is happening and will happily plonk myself down in the middle of the room so I don't miss out on anything. My Foster Daddy says I am a FOMO, whatever that means! Despite my tough and manly exterior (all 7kg of me - yes, you read that right!) I'm an exceptionally gentle and sweet-natured boy. My Foster Mama says I have left such a lasting impression on her that she would adopt me in a heartbeat if she had room for my big bottom. I'm not sure if I should take that as a compliment or not?!
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I'm a huge fan of other kitties. Huge. The more cats in my life, the better! As far as I'm concerned, if there is a friendly cat in the house then I've already started planning our 'Best Friend's Forever' celebration party. You're invited by the way, but only if you bring a cat.
I absolutely adore all of my foster siblings, in particular my brother Salem. We came into care at the same time and he has helped build my confidence and settle into this new way of life. I would be the happiest boy in the world if we could be adopted together so that we could be real brothers for the rest of our lives. We rely on each other for comfort and support and would ease into our new home much quicker if we had each other. My Foster Mama said if this isn't possible then I will be fine so long as there is a confident and cat-friendly kitty who will take me under their wing and look after me.
I've not met doggos before but so long as they are gentle, placid and respect my boundaries I'm sure I could learn to love one. I've not met kiddos either but my pawrents thinks I will do better with the bigger, less noisy kind while I settle into my new digs.
Likes / Dislikes
My Foster Mama says the reason I come in such a hefty package is so that it can hold my big, beautiful heart. And my even bigger stomach! My pawrents "affectionately" refer to me as 'Benny Big Bum'. I'm a few tears away from calling the RSPCA and reporting them for fat-shaming if I'm being honest.
Aside from food my favourite things in life are my foster siblings, being brushed, gentle pats, playing, curling up in my favourite spot on the sofa and, of course, love!
Despite being confident in so many ways I am still uncertain of new people and new places. It will take me a few weeks to relax and come out of my shell so I will need a family who have plenty of love and patience. My pawrents say I am worth the wait and they'd be right; I'm pretty great.
My PURR-fect home would be with a wonderfully kind and caring family who want to give a former street cat the best happily ever after a boy could dream of. A home where my belly is always full, my bed is always soft, and my heart is filled with love. Oh, and a cat who will let me be their new bestie.
