About Vernon
Vernon is a sweet and affectionate boy who enjoys being around people and getting lots of pats from them. He loves sticking close to you no matter what you are doing.
He loves to sun-bathe and watch the birds from the window.
Vernon is an absolute lap cat and will not hesitate to hop onto your lap for a snooze, especially when it's cold outside. He will also crawl into your bed at night to cuddle up with you (and steal your warmth!).
He loves massaging anywhere he can get his paws on, and sometimes he can even be seen massaging the air!
When it comes to playtime, Vernon unleashes all his energy! He especially loves chasing the laser and jumping to catch the teaser. He is also highly food-motivated and will do almost anything for a treat.
Vernon has not been tested with other cats or dogs, so would be suitable to a home where he can live solo or potentially with another cat
Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2-week trial which we stay in touch with and provide support during this time.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork, transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
