About Casper
Meet our boy with his piercing blue eyes that look right into your soul.
Casper "Cassie" is an eager, playful, and deeply affectionate puppy. Despite being the size of a full-grown dog, he's a sweet, talkative, energetic youngster just waiting to make someone his whole world. He is fully toilet and crate trained, can sit and has begun to "wait" for food. He can heel and is an absolute gentleman on leash. With a bit more practice Cassie is on his way to learning to play fetch. He is good with people, older kids, dogs, and cats.
Casper will need a large breed experienced owner that is committed to training him to reach his full potential. He is a clever boy and is quickly able to work out if he can wrap you around his big paw. Casper is going to make an exceptional who will be both loyal and loving.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.
IF YOU CAN TICK ALL THE BELOW BOXES, PLEASE POP IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION FOR US TO CONSIDER.
• You have a large secure yard
• Casper will not be alone for more than 5 hrs
• You will allow Casper to be part of the family and will allow him access to indoors with you.
• You WILL provide him with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
• You WILL enrol him in obedience training.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer will be considered. Please provide the name of the obedience school you will be enrolling Casper in and your experience with large breed dogs.
PLEAS NOTE: if you provide basic details only, we will be unable to process your application sorry.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
