About Jersey **2nd Chance Cat Rescue**
Jersey and her sister (Clara - also available) were rescued by a Danish backpacker at a dairy farm outside of Colac. Their siblings were sadly taken by the farm dogs. When it was his time to move on, he contacted us to take over their care.
Jersey arrived in foster care when she was about 10-12 weeks old. Her confidence is growing every day. She loves sleeping in front of the fire and curled up enjoying the afternoon sun. When not sleeping somewhere nice and warm, she loves playing with her toys and all her other furry friends in the house...including the dog! She is now starting to snuggle in behind knees and stay close during quiet times, however is not yet demanding cuddles and attention from her carers. With time and patience, I think she will get there. She has the sweetest meow at meal times - a real cutie with so much potential.
This little lady will require some patience and encouragement. A quieter home would suit her best - she can be a little jumpy and will hide if there's too much noise. She would be fine with a friendly furry companion, or an alternative would be a dual adoption with her sister - they have both had a bit of a rough start in life after all.
Jersey is currently with her foster carer in Beaconsfield.
