Marita (Kelpie mix puppy)

Introducing MARITA, a lively, playful and sweet-tempered female kelpie mix puppy, born on 25 July 2023.

Marita’s mum is a petite black kelpie and her dad (pictured in this profile) is a smallish Staffy type dog.

Marita is the smallest pup in the litter of eight and weighed 2.4 kgs on 6 September 2023. (Don’t tell the other pups, but she’s her foster mum’s favourite.)

Marita and her littermates were born in care and have received an abundance of loving attention from their foster family, including small children. They are very well socialised.

Marita is best suited to an active home where someone is around most of the time. To be happy and content, she will need plenty of physical and mental stimulation, which is easier to achieve if she has a compatible canine mate and a generous backyard for self-exercise. As always, secure fencing is a must.
