About Arjen
I am trying a new home to see if i like it. Arjen is a dog who blossoms with time. . . . She is well-behaved, affectionate and playful. Arjen adapts to any situation with grace and integrity. She is well socialized with other dogs and humans and loves to run around and play. Arjen can also amuse herself with her toys when on her own, come when called and is no trouble to walk on a lead. She is currently living with a border collie and maltese x shih tzu as well as a cat and is very happy playing with them. Arjen is happy to play outside (she quite enjoys it) but likes to come inside when she is finished. She plays equally well inside and is fully house trained. A car ride is no problem for arjen and she enjoys any sort of outing. She doesn't mind a bit of a 'rumble' with a human hand and loves to have her tummy tickled. She will sit affectionately on your lap and just 'be' with you. Arjen would be suited to any household, her only requirement being lots and lots and lots of love because she deserves it and will give that love back to you many times over. Arjen's coat will grow and then require regular brushing and clipping. She is a house dog and must have access to the house via a doggy door or similar. Update 15 march: arjen's foster carer noticed when arjen was running around with her doggy friends at the local dog park that she would hold one of her back legs up. We had the vet examine arjen and it was discovered that she had a luxating patella which would require surgery. Arjen will make a full recovery and we expect her to be back at the dog park visiting her friends in a couple of weeks time. Then she will not need to hold her leg up anymore and will feel much more comfortable and out of pain. Arjen comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $350 and is not available for adoption outside nsw. She has also had a recent dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic). If you would like more information on arjen or to arrange to meet her, please phone 0466 690916 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email using adoption enquiry as your subject heading. Before phoning or emailing, please check denise's rescued dogs in foster care on www. Paws. Com. Au for any updated photos and to make sure this dog is still available for adoption.
