About Gem
I am trying a new home to see if i like it. Gem has the most gentle nature and is a delight to have around the house. She loves the company of her humans and enjoys sitting on their laps and getting lots of cuddles. Gem's favourite spot while her carer is on the computer is sitting at her feet having a good old nap. She will snuggle with you while you watch tv as very much a snuggle bunny is gem! she loves to get out and about and walks well on the lead. Gem is enjoying her walks in the park just strolling along sniffing the air and watching all that goes on around her. Gem is not a fussy eater or a barker and is house trained and good with cats. She oes not pay a lot of attention to the other dogs in foster care and appears to enjoy human company to that of doggy company, although this could change the longer she stays in foster care. Gem's ideal home will be with a family who don't go out to work everyday leaving her alone if she is to be an only dog. A home without very small children is needed as she is tiny and they may be too much for her but older children over 8 years are fine. Gem would suit a retired couple looking to adopt a dog that has a lovely coat but does not require the grooming that a shih tzu or similar breed requires. A brush daily to keep the knots at bay and a professional clip twice a year would be fine for gem who is a house dog and must have indoor access at all times. Gem comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $350 and is not available for adoption outside nsw. She has also had a recent dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic). If you would like more information on gem or to arrange to meet her, please phone 0466 690916 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email using adoption enquiry as your subject heading. Before phoning or emailing, please check denise's rescued dogs in foster care on www. Paws. Com. Au for any updated photos and to make sure this dog is still available for adoption.
