Remi is 14 months old and is very much still a big puppy, this gorgeous boy is a long stock coat German Shepherd and is looking for his forever home after finding himself homeless in the pound.
Remi loves meeting new people, sometimes a little too much and will jump up excitedly to say hello when greeting guests within the home. When he gets over-excited, Remi can get a little mouthy, he has been working on his impulse control in foster care and is making great improvement. Remi will need to have consistent boundaries and rules in his new home so that he can learn his manners, he is suited to a home were everyone is over the age of 10.
Remi is very clever and loves to learn, he is motivated by both food and toys and enjoys participating in training sessions with his humans. Remi knows his basic commands; however, his leash skills still need some work. Remi would thrive attending group obedience training using positive reinforcement methods to help him fine-tune his manners and skills whilst working on his overall socialisation.
Remi is an active boy, he is looking for a family that will give him daily walks and also keep him mentally stimulated, he loves following scents and sniffing everything he can. Remi loves using enrichment toys that dispense treats and enjoys seeking out his food scattered around the yard.
Remi is inexperienced with other dogs, he doesn’t know how to politely meet others and will rush in to say hello pulling as hard as he can, sometimes he will let out a big bark to voice his excitement. Remi is friendly and just wants to play, however can come across rude to other dogs and will need to learn doggy manners.
Remi may be able to live with another large-breed dog, he likes to play rough and will need a confident dog friend that is confident to correct Remi when he is too much. Remi would also be fine as the only dog in his new home, he has not been tested with cats or other small pets.
This gorgeous boy is just a big puppy that needs boundaries and consistency, he has a beautiful temperament and is a fun-loving, happy boy that just wants to share his love with the world!

Adoption details
We offer a 'Foster to Adopt' program. This means that the dog will go to live with their adoptive family for 4 weeks to ensure it is the perfect match for both the dog and new family. After the 4 weeks is complete, if all has gone well, the adoption is formalised and your new doggy companion is officially yours!
If you are interested in adopting from us, we ask that you fill out the Adoption Application form on our website (via the link provided below) with as much detail as possible, including the name of the dog you are interested in.
We do not rehome female dogs to a home where there is an existing female dog. Whilst there are always exceptions, it is generally unwise to have two females together; two males can sort it out, a male and a female can sort it out, but when two females fight, the results can be disastrous. For this reason, following the advice from numerous Veterinary behaviourists, as well as our own experience from the last eight years, we do not rehome females into homes with other female dogs.
All of our dogs are de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated
Puppies (2 months to 4 months) - $1000
Puppies (4 to 6 months) - $800
Adolescents (6 months to 1 year) - $700
