About Honey
HONEY by name, honey by nature.
Please meet HONEY, a Jack Russell Terrier with a very sweet and vibrant personality. She has just turned 8 yo, though behaves like a much younger dog, and weighs only 6.4 kgs.
A joyful, energetic and fun-loving canine package, Honey is everything you'd want in a small companion dog.
She is accustomed to living inside and outside, is completely house-trained and can use a doggie door.
Until recently, she was the much loved companion and only pet of an older man, who is no longer able to care for her due to his deteriorating health.
Since arriving in care, Honey has settled into her new foster home without a hitch. She gets on well with the resident dogs, two male Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and has shown she has the confidence and adaptability to live in a multi-dog household or as an only dog.
Her ideal home will have someone around most of the time and plenty of opportunity for games and play.
Like many Jacks, she has an independent streak and enjoys time alone in the back yard, sniffing and investigating.
She is untested with cats and small children.
As always, secure fencing is essential.
If you are interested in meeting Honey and can offer her a suitable, safe and loving forever home, PLEASE COMPLETE THE ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
Honey is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.
