About Marie
Marie is the chunky pup of her litter. At birth, she was twice the weight of the smallest pup. True to her nature, she has always been the first in line when food is offered and was the first eating hard solids (treats and kibble) while her siblings just licked and spat it out. She is very easy going with the pack and follows the others when not napping.
Like her siblings, she needs a home with another young friendly and playful dog that will keep her busy while the humans live their life. Don't let the small size fool you, they have a lot of energy! More than any human would cope with without some canine expertise to help. If you don't yet have another canine companion, we are happy to match you with one.
Delta, Monte and Ripple have medium hair, likely from a long haired Mini Dachshund in dad's family tree, as both mum and dad have short hair. Ginger, Marie, Tina and Yo-Yo are short haired.
As per veterinary advice, all puppies stay under a Foster to Adopt contract until older, so a home close to Metro Sydney (Newcastle/Wollongong okay) is a must!
A secure fenced backyard is a must (1.8 m minimum) with no chance of digging underneath the fences or get through any gaps.
