About Shadow
✅ Vaccinated, Microchipped & Desexed
✅ Litter trained
✅ Treated for flea & worm prevention
✅ Cat friendly
This GORGEOUS kitten was found at the colony possibly dumped by humans and was being picked on by the other cats so we think has made her a little bit more shy and initially standoffish when meeting new people. She became very bonded and friendly with a good Samaritan that would feed her and they brought her into care to find a wonderful loving home and that is how we have come to know this lovely girl.
It is hard not to NOTICE how STUNNING she is. Her lovely black colour against her fierce green eyes.
Her name is interesting yet most appropriate as she is always quietly there. Not in your face but a sweet soul longing to connect.
We are delighted to see that every day she warms up more and more, as she provides us with more affection even to the point now of sleeping on our bed with other cats. She also seeks out pats and cuddles, she really loves it at times. She likes to be around people yet remains cautious of them until she trusts you. She is still loving and is comfortable around other cats but doesn’t seek them out to get their attention nor does she give them trouble, she just quietly watches the world go and round.
She would be suited to be the only cat or a household with another friendly cat or quiet dog. She is able to tolerate our young bouncy pups who give her grief and try to play and chase her around on occasion.
Contact us for a Meet and greet TODAY! xxx She is SOOOOO lovely.

Adoption details
Before Adoption:
Before adopting a new pet, ensure all family members understand that a pet is an emotional and financial commitment that you need to be prepared to love, house and keep safe for the next 15 to 20 years. This means premium nutrition, preventative health care, regular veterinary check-ups and keeping them inside or only having access to a cat proof area or yard. Pet insurance with accident and illness cover gives you piece of mind knowing your pet can get the veterinary care they may need and you don’t have to worry about if the expense.
We start off by either emailing you our adoption questionnaire or having a chat on the phone to get some details about who you are and what you’re looking for in a feline companion. Next step is to organise a meet and greet. Depending on your location, we bring the feline/s to you or you can come and visit the orphanage. There is usually a 24hour wait from the meet and greet to collecting your new family member so everyone has a night to think things over and so you have a chance to get your home repaired. If all goes well and everyone is happy, the adoption paperwork is signed and you collect your new family member.
All adoptions are subject to a two week settling in period. If for any reason your new addition is not suited to your lifestyle, you are welcome to return them for a full refund of the adoption fee. All adoptions come with an adoption pack which contains all their certificates and paperwork, information on preventative health care, diet, pet insurance and potential toxins/poisons around the home.
After adoption, we continue to provide ongoing advice and support in order to help you care for your new family member. To find out more about any of our orphans, please contact Alexandria at Kittie Kat Rescue, after the settling period we will always take back the cat no questions asked.
