About George
George is an absolute chonky sweetheart that loves shadowing you and wanting lots of love and attention. He likes having a little chat in the mornings and he'll let you pat him and brush him all day if you want.
George was rescued off the cold, mean streets of Sydney but has adapted well and really loves the indoor life these days. Like most indoor cats. he loves his warm, soft bed the most. His favoritethings to do are to sit by you or nap in his cat condo as the world passes him by.
He’s very social and would love to have a family that will love him and keep him safe inside.
George has not been tested with children or large dogs.
Medical notes
George is fully vetted. No other medical notes
Adoption details
Before Adoption:
Before adopting a new pet, ensure all family members understand that a pet is an emotional and financial commitment that you need to be prepared to love, house and keep safe for the next 15 to 20 years. This means premium nutrition, preventative health care, regular veterinary check-ups and keeping them inside or only having access to a cat proof area or yard. Pet insurance with accident and illness cover gives you piece of mind knowing your pet can get the veterinary care they may need and you will not have to worry about all of the expense.
We start by either emailing you our adoption questionnaire or having a chat on the phone to obtain some details about who you are and what you’re looking for in a feline companion. Next step is to organise a meet and greet. Depending on your location, we bring the feline/s to you or you can come and visit the foster carer's home. There is usually a 24 hour wait from the meet and greet to collecting your new family member so everyone has a night to think things over and so you have a chance to prepare your home. If all goes well and everyone is happy, the adoption paperwork is signed and you collect your new family member.
All adoptions are subject to a two week settling in period. If for any reason your new addition is not suited to your lifestyle, you are welcome to return them for a full refund of the adoption fee.
After adoption, we continue to provide ongoing advice and support in order to help you care for your new family member. To find out more about any of our orphans, please contact Alexandria at Kittie Kat Rescue on 0402772397 OR Judith on 0407 112 207. After the settling period we will always take back the cat no questions asked.
