Charizard (Chari) **2nd Chance Cat Rescue**

MY PROFILE:

Little Charizard (Chari) is a sweet, playful and friendly girl. Who is also incredibly pretty with a bobbed tail to boot. She's in care with her big brother Digglet and they absolutely love each other.

Our foster carer responded to a call for help after an 11-week-old kitten was dumped on a farm on Melbourne's fringe. She headed down with a carrier and a trap just in case, as though we were assured the kitten was very friendly, things don't always go to plan. Of course when we got there the little kitten knew we were up to something...she was showing off and wanting pats but wouldn't let us pick her up. So a trap was set while we tried kept trying to catch her. Our volunteer then saw movement near the trap and though, 'hang on, that's a different kitten!'...a bigger and shyer one. Thank goodness we took the trap.

Chari was caught easily by hand and popped in the carrier and our focus was then on the ginger teenage boy. He was so hungry he went in easily. Poor boy was so scared, but not in the slightest bit fiesty.

Our theory is Digglet might be from a previous litter as they were dumped together and the age gap seems about right. They are very close.

We brought them home and gave them TLC, the shock of being dumped must have hit Digglet hard...but in a few days he started to relax...still a little shy, but enjoying pats and cuddles with the LOUDEST purr. Chari is more confident and has been a great support to her big bro!

They, especially Digglet, are gentle souls who would prefer a quiet home. They're still coming out of their shells and are some of the loveliest cats! Digglet can be won over with a good paw massage haha

Digglet is a cute ginger boy with patches of white and Chari is incredibly unusual in her colouring! Tabby stripe mixed with white and some splotches of ginger. Plus she has a bobbed half-tail which we assume she was born with which makes her extra special.

Likely they would prefer a home with a single person dedicated to their animals, a childfree couple looking for the perfect furbabies or a family with older kids or teenagers. They have not been tested with dogs.

Chari is a lovely girl, and she deserves an extra special home with her teddy bear big brother.
