About Queso
Say hello to Queso, a dog with a friendly nature and a charming personality. This charming boy has an undeniable knack for capturing hearts, both of humans and other animals. Queso loves walks and exploring, but he equally cherishes being part of a warm and loving family or sitting calmly at your side at home.
Each day with Queso brings new and exciting experiences. From learning new commands - to exploring new environments, this energetic pup can't wait to have adventures with you. Despite his active nature, he's also a relaxed and contented companion, knowing when to wind down and just enjoy some quiet time at home.
He is really a big baby, currently weighing in at 25kgs! He has been known to make the occasional bed explode and has even dabbled in some acting (seriously you'll see his face on TV soon)!
While we can't be certain of his exact breed, Queso sports a unique look. He might embody a bit of a Boxer, and his adorable little face gives him the endearing cartoon-like countenance that you can't resist.
In all, if you're looking for a loyal, adventurous, and loving companion who'll be part of the family, easygoing Queso might just be your perfect match. So, why not venture together on a joyful journey and let Queso fill your home with laughter, happiness, and an endless supply of love.
MY IDEAL HOME: I love being part of a family, and staying close to my family members. I am clever, and full of happy energy. I would best suit a family invested in ongoing training and socialisation and would love if they were around more often than not. I'd prefer a home with a yard over an apartment but would be open to exploring my options for the right vibe.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I am full of energy, and love playing with my family or anyone approved by my family. But I also like to have a snooze, and am a good sleeper at nights (also a fabulous snorer but that's another story).
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I would love to play with people, and would be suitable for slightly older children or children who are experienced with med-large dogs.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I really like meeting other animals, and am very respectful around other dogs. I am also interested in cats, as friends; but they can be a bit nervous around me, because I am so lively (and a dog!)

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
