This lovable goofball is our Basil!

He may be a big boy, but Basil can be a little scaredy cat, especially when it comes to wind and storms.

Basil is quite an excitable doggo who hasn't had much training prior to entering our care. He will need to go to a home where his new family will continue his training so he can become the bestest boy in the world!

Basil can be quite bouncy and excitable, due to his age and lack of training and would be best suited to a home with adults only (16+). He requires a home with people that can read his body language and give him space when he needs it- the amazing LDH staff can give you some tricks and tips about this.

He may be able to go home with another doggo pal, pending a successful meet and greet.
We will need to see how they interact as going home with another canine is a huge commitment and the relationship needs to be just right.

Basil will need to go home with a compulsory balance training harness, this price has been built into the overall adoption cost.
