Gorgeous little Ernie is an active and sweet little puppy. He just wants to be around people and is constantly at your feet and following you around, wherever you go and just laps up cuddles! A typical lively little boy who gets on well with the other dogs in his foster home. Being a young pup he should be able to fit into most households as long as they can commit the time and energy young puppies need. Ernie should be great with children too as long as they understand that young pups haven't yet been trained not to jump up, potentially chew their toys, and give big licky kisses!
Ernie is a Staffy mix and will likely be medium sized when adult. Like most dogs he will need daily exercise including a walk/run outside of his yard, play time with his human family, obedience training and very importantly socialisation, ie positive introductions to new people, dogs, places and situations so that he grows up confident and friendly.
We recommend puppy training for pups to give them the best possible start to being in their new homes. Training is fun for both pup and owner alike.
Ernie would love a household with someone home for his first few weeks/months if possible to provide the companionship and enrichment that he will need as he starts his new life. He's ready now to find his new home, caring new family and start enjoying the good life!
**Before applying, please remember that adopting a puppy into your home is a big commitment. Please ask everyone in your household if they are in agreement before applying, and consider your work hours, holidays, how your other pets will accept the new pup, and how busy your life is!
