About Joey
My young life has been full of hardship. First, I was separated from all I had ever known – my mum. Shortly after, and luckily for me, I was rescued from an unknown fate along with my foster brother, but sadly he crossed the rainbow bridge not long after arriving in foster care. I am friendly but shy at times. With some TLC and a safe place to call my forever, I’m likely to be your best friend.
As I’m a little calf all on my lonesome in foster care, I desperately need of some cow friends to keep me company. My perfect home is ideally with other young steers or cows, but I could also be adopted into a herd if I can be kept in my own adjoining paddock until I have the chance to catch up in size.
What I need now is a family who can show me love, friendship of other cows and freedom to spend my days gazing. Can that be with you or someone you know?
Here’s what you need to know:
D.O.B: 24/7/23
Breed/gender: Desexed male, Jersey
Bottles: 2 bottles per day until 10-12 weeks. Fully weaned by 13-15 weeks.
Medical: Treated with a round of antibiotics from a preexisting condition when rescue. Will be healthy/strong for adoption. NLIS tagged and vaccinated.
Location: Hunter region, NSW
You would be changing my life if you are able to welcome me into your home.
Medical notes
Vaccinated, NLIS tagged, and PIC number.
Joey has been on a course of antibiotics; however, he will be cleared for adoption.
