About Roselle 11000
Roselle is here to steal your heart! This charming and delightful girl is ready to find her forever home, and she's the perfect addition to any family, whether you're an experienced cat owner or brand new to the world of felines.
Roselle is the epitome of sweetness and charm. She's a gentle soul with a heart full of love. She may be a little hesitant around loud noises, but don't worry – that just means she prefers the comforts of an indoor life where she can feel safe and content. Roselle doesn't let household noises bother her, so whether your home is peaceful and calm or bustling with activity, she'll fit right in.
Roselle is open to meeting kids of all ages, making her an ideal companion for families. Her patient and gentle nature means she'll be a great friend to your little ones.
While Roselle may be a tad unsure about meeting other cats, with a gradual and slow introduction, she could become a wonderful companion to your current feline. We are unsure how she would go with a canine friend, so again, a gradual introduction is key to ensuring a harmonious living environment.
Roselle's easy-going attitude extends to her low-maintenance care. She's not too interested in toys but absolutely adores human interaction. Her favourite pastime is being petted all over, and she'll reward you with a symphony of contented purrs in return.
Roselle is not a picky eater! She's more than happy to indulge in all types of food, so mealtime will always be a breeze with her around. You can also count on her to always use her litter tray with impeccable manners. She's a tidy lady who knows how to keep her space clean.
While Roselle enjoys being picked up and cuddled, she may squirm a little if held for an extended period. Short and sweet cuddle sessions are her favourite! Roselle is not a vocal cat, so you can expect a peaceful and serene atmosphere in your home.
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
