About Scooby
Hello my name is Onyx.
I am still a pup and will need someone home during the day to start my training (including house training) and provide me with three good quality meals a day.
I would benefit from attending puppy classes at your local vets to start my obedience training and socialisation with other dogs and people.
Staghounds are sight hounds that respond to movement and have a natural instinct to chase. Thus they are not always suitable around small dogs, cats and other small pets, and benefit from a lot of early socialisation.
I may be suitable having a well matched canine friend in my new home, pending meet and greet of course.
When mature Staghounds are known for their couch potato nature. However being a young pup I'm not there yet (maybe when I'm 3 year sold) and can be quite bouncy and maybe too overwhelming for young children.
I will need plenty of supervision and toys to play with and chew.
My breed can sometimes have trouble regulating their body temperature and so I will need to be invited indoors in my new home.
Daily exercise and a secure yard for when I'm outside are essential for a happy and safe member of the family.
Are you ready for the full time care of a young pup? Please call our Peninsula Team on 5978 9001 for more information about me.
