About Millie
Introducing Millie!
Millie is a Border Collie X Kelpie. This little girl is playful, sweet and affectionate. Millie can be a little timid on first introductions to new humans but once she warms up she will smother you with love, kisses and attention.
Millie knows the basics. Sit and walking on a lead are well established. Her recall is excellent… so long as there is not something really exciting happening elsewhere!!!
Millie plays with other dogs but can be a little dominant so would need slow supervised introductions to new playmates. She previously lived with three cats but was prone to chasing them and playing too roughly, so she would need constant supervision and further training if she was to live with cats again. She loves to be with her human just hanging out or doing chores. She can be excitable but will settle and have chill time. Millie will sleep quietly in her crate during the night and seems to enjoy having a quiet space to retreat to from a noisy and busy home environment.
Millie would do best with people who enjoy the outdoors as well as quiet time. To ensure she becomes the best version of herself possible, a commitment to ongoing training is essential, plus Millie enjoys the stimulation and reward process. Millie would be fine with children, but not toddlers as she is still a bouncy excitable pup.
If you think Millie sounds like the pup for you, please send your application through!
