About Cooper
Meet Cooper
This beautiful 9-year-old Jack Russell is looking for his forever home ❤️
This is a dog with a gentle soul, he loves to cuddle and loves being pat he will lap up any attention you give him. He's very easy to fall in love with and adores making friends with every new person he meets. He welcomes everyone and loves the attention. Cooper loves to sunbathe on the balcony when it's warm outside, he loves playing with toys and balls of all kinds and he won't say no to treats of any kind.
He sleeps on his dog bed by himself happily but if you let him on your bed he will cuddle you as long as he's allowed to stay, he can even put the blanket on himself.
Cooper loves walks in parks and is toilet trained (this can need reinforcing in a new environment/new home). He's a small easy and loving dog. However, Cooper was left in a backyard prior to his life in rescue and has spent most if not all of his life alone. He is getting used to other dogs, he is not aggressive but he is scared of large dogs and he has been attacked by a large dog for giving off a scared bark. We need someone who can at this stage avoid him from interacting with big dogs while his confidence grows. He is not aggressive but not well socialised, this will take time and he needs lots of positive reinforcement to build his confidence. He does give off growls to other dogs especially big and jumpy dogs, this is fear based but Cooper doesn't have a bad bone in his body. Mindfulness to keep him safe while out and about is key.
While in our care Cooper has had a dental and some teeth removed. He is looking very fresh and ready for his new family. We are seeking an only dog home for Cooper where he can live out the rest of his life being spoilt ❤️✨️
Medical notes
Cooper has also had a full dental done while in our care
