Remi

Remi is a stunning Labradoodle who is looking for a new home through no fault of his own (current owner’s ill health). He is a really lovely natured dog who will make a fantastic addition to a new family. Remi is friendly with all people that he meets, and he loves to get pats or cuddles. He is a very affectionate and happy dog, typical of his breed, and enjoys a good game of fetch or soccer in the yard with his humans.

Remi is a social butterfly with other dogs and would happily spend all day at the dog park if you let him. He enjoys playing with other dogs of all sizes and running around to stretch his legs. Remi would love a home with another playful and friendly dog but is perfectly fine to live as an only dog as he does now. He is a large dog who weighs 35kg and is relatively active. Remi will need a home who can provide him with daily exercise and regular trips to the dog park for a run.

Currently, Remi is living with two young children (2 and 5 years old) and he is wonderful with them. As mentioned, he is a large and playful dog so any children in his new home should be confident around such dogs. Remi also shares his home with two senior cats, but they are not so keen on his playfulness. He would be fine to share his home with felines who are more confident with dogs or who had their own areas to move away from him.

Remi comes with basic training and is clever enough to pick up anything new his future family would like to teach him. He knows how to sit and wait (to be let inside or for his dinner). Remi walks alright on the lead but could benefit from some further leash training as he can pull a bit when excited. He has good manners around the home and travels fine in the car.

We are looking for a lovely home for Remi where he will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities. He should be allowed to be inside the home with the family and will need a warm comfy bed to sleep on inside at night. Remi does shed so is not suitable for a family looking for a hypoallergenic dog. He would do best in a home with a yard and in a lifestyle where he will get to have lots of fun and go on many adventures with his new besties. Is that you?
