About Sam
This sweet young man is Sam AKA Sammy Boy, a domestic short hair born 18th February 2022.
Sam was brought in as an unmicrochipped street cat. When he came in he had a very large wound on his neck & what looked like an ulcer on his eye. He was taken to the vets who gave his wound the all clear & stated his eye looks like it could be from an old wound. He's in for a re-check this coming week, but we've been advised he doesn't require any medication. While this doesn't affect his vision, there is a chance the wound will remain on the eye.
Since being with us, Sammy has been very sweet towards humans & would hold his paws out of his cage so he could hold onto your finger on the outside. He loves a head & neck scratch and if you hit the right spot he turns into a purr machine.
Sam has been tested with male & female cats & he gets along well with both. He would be suitable to live with other cats, or to be a spoilt "only child".
Sam is quite an affectionate boy who doesn't mind being carried around the cat area.
Sam is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.
Sam is such a gorgeous guy and given the condition he arrived in, he will be rehomed to a family who are willing to keep him as an inside cat only.
If you think you could be that furever family for Sam, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Sam's adoption fee is $200 & this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. He is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Sam is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
