About Cotton

A sweet, attention-loving boy, Cotton is also curious and playful - and he loves a good chat!
Leisurely naps in the sun, food of all kinds and scratches with his special back-scratcher also rate highly on his list of favourite things :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Cotton is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I lived by myself on the streets for a year after being abandoned by my last owner, so I'll need to be part of a gentle, quiet household, where I can get lots of assurances and long pat sessions from my loving new family. I don't always enjoy sitting on your lap, but pats and scratches are the best!
Though I'm really calm and curious around other cats, I'm not great at respecting their boundaries, so if your resident kitty is sensitive or easily annoyed I might not be the best match.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a chill sort of guy, interspersing my long lie-ins and extended pampering sessions with my brush with short bursts of playfulness here and there!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I think my calm and collected nature will work well with children aged around 10+, or any kids who'll respect that I can be easily spooked.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'd love to make friends with your nice cats, and maybe even cat-socialised dogs! - though my overly interested approach won't suit all pet purrsonalities.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
