About Annie
We would like to introduce this gorgeous little girl to you all. This is Annie and she is a 5 month old German Shorthaired Pointer x who is looking for her forever home.
This little girl has the sweetest of nature, she’s gentle, sensitive, loving and affectionate. She currently weighs 18kgs and will grow to be a tall and slender beauty, around 30kgs. She’s currently an inside/outside dog who loves to play fetch and chase a ball, snoozing on the back deck with the other dogs during the day, and loves to cuddle up inside to watch tv with her family in the evenings. She’s got a hilarious personality and has us laughing each day as she prances around the house.
Annie would suit a family with kids of any age and would need one good walk a day to give her an energy outlet as she grows. She is currently in foster care with 3 large dogs who she adores and who give her a lot of confidence. For this reason, we are looking for a home that has an existing dog/dogs that she can grow up with and keep her company. She loves to cuddle into each dog, resting her head on their backs and tucked into their sides.
She’s currently learning off lead recall and has shown to be a fast learner. We are looking for a family who will organise play dates for her so she can learn how to play with different dogs, go on walks with her, take her to group training classes and introduce her to new experiences so she can receive the socialisation that all dogs need in order to thrive in adulthood.
She’s a brilliant sleeper, choosing to sleep on her bed all night and only coming looking for cuddles when she hears her foster parents alarms go off each morning. She’s currently learning toilet training and has mastered her ‘sit’.
Annie will bond quickly to those that spend time with her. She is located in the Newcastle area of NSW and her adoption fee is $650.
