About Bow
Please meet 5 yo BOW (as in “bow-tie”) a sweet-tempered, long-haired Chihuahua, looking for a safe and loving home.
Bow was surrendered to us recently following the death of his elderly owner. Despite losing his home and family, he has settled into his foster home well and is showing a good deal of resilience and adaptability to change.
At just 3 kgs, he’s a tiny boy and would do best in a home with toy dog experience and where at least one human is around almost all the time.
Bow is dog-friendly but has had no exposure to cats since being in care.
Chihuahuas make wonderful little companions. Loyal and dedicated, they tend to bond very closely with their favourite human/s and can be quite protective of their territory, which makes them super little watchdogs.
They’re ideal for smaller homes and apartments. Having said that, they still need exercise and mental stimulation.
Interested?
Then the first step is to complete the online adoption application at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
Bow is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. He is also flea and worm-treated.
