About Myrtle
Introducing MYRTLE of The Harry Potter Litter, five beautiful puppies born around 17 March 2023.
We have been reliably informed by pound staff that Myrtle is a Wolfhound mix, although judging from her height and weight at 6 months (12.9 kgs), she's destined to be a medium-sized dog.
Myrtle is sweet-natured, placid and affectionate. With the older dogs in her foster home, she's content to be the submissive one. Gentle with children, Myrtle has never met a human she doesn't love.
According to her foster mum:
"Myrtle is a very calm dog. She does have puppy play moments and enjoys running around with our other foster pup, a kelpie/cattle dog, but she's definitely not high energy. She spends most of her time outside with the other pup, but comes in at night for family time. She loves to relax with her human family in the evenings. She's such a darling girl."
Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time and there is another compatible dog for Myrtle to play with. Secure fencing and plenty of space to romp and play are essential.
If you are interested in meeting this lovely pup and can offer her a suitable, safe and loving forever home, PLEASE COMPLETE THE ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
Myrtle is vaccinated, microchipped and desexed. She is also flea and worm-treated.
