I cannot express how much I love these puppies.
They have wrenched my heart out and will carry it with them wherever they go.
They are bold, confident, happy, goofy members of the family who radiate joy and have an enthusiasm for life that is thoroughly contagious.
They are a pair of mini gazelles who jump and prance in the sunshine. They love going out for short walks, meeting new people, and exploring new environments.
Ambrosia will eat the shoes off your feet - its almost impossible to walk anywhere without her being dragged along with her legs wrapped around your ankle, teeth sunken into your shoes. Her favourite spot to sleep is in your lap.
Aloysius knows what he wants and how to get it! he is a master of the puppy dog eyes. He loves playing keepings off - often hiding in the bushes with his special toy. He's a five-star snuggle pot who adores a belly scratch.
These pups will make for spectacular family companions for two lucky homes and will be sorely missed by their foster family.

Medical notes
Aloysius has a grade 4 heart Murmur.
It is caused by moderate sub-aortic Stenosis (narrowing of the aorta).
The cardiac specialist has reported that this is very unlikely to result in any problems in the short-medium term. His long-term prognosis is dependent on whether the narrowing grows with Aloysius or not. He will need to revisit the Cardiologist in 12 months' time to assess.
Both pups suffer from Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS) to varying degrees. This is a set of upper airway abnormalities that commonly affect brachycephalic (Flat-faced) dogs.
They will need to be seen by our vet in Lilydale at 6-8 months of age to assess the need for BOAS related surgery.
This May or may not involve the widening of the nostrils or removal of the excess soft palate.
They aren't suited to a super active lifestyle due to their BOAS symptoms and will need to maintain a healthy weight and avoid getting fat.
Starting Over Dog Rescue will cover the cost for the visits to the cardiologist and for their BOAS assessment and any treatment involved for these pre-existing conditions with prior approval from the rescue directors.
