Hi! I'm Tank and this is what my foster carer has to say about me :)

He’s a great boy lots of personality to be shared loves having cuddles and a good tummy scratch, we are learning sit , stay , wait , no , come here, we are good at hand shakes, we have grown to not like cats, he loves being inside and being apart of the family, i get a little bit too excited with younger kids, but we love playing and running around the yard. We are also learning personal boundaries with our human friends, I’m good with other dogs but I’m ever so excited to see them this maybe a concern for others but I just want to play. I can play fetch but it’s up to me if I actually bring it back to you. I do need a good game to play to burn off all my energy. You said it’s time to water your plants but I say let me have a turn, I love having a good wash, my human kids can feed me and I try listen I will sit and wait for my dinner. I’m yet to experience and explore the world from the ocean to the desert,

I would say he’s best suited to a family that has no cats and kids maybe older than 5/6yrs old as we are working hard on not jumping.

Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I’d like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I’ve learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I’ll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me “no” if I’m chewing something I shouldn’t and give me a chew toy instead. I’d love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don’t get bored with them.
