About Trixy
Young girl Trixy is only 5 months old and already seeking her new forever home.
Being so young it is highly recommend that Trixy attends a puppy school with her family to be able to learn some commends to be the bestest girl she can be in the future, this will also help with the bond between her and her new family. Trixy is super keen on learning and such a switched on girl.
Excitable and lovable but also stunning this girl will make you want to adopt her in a heartbeat.
While hanging out at BARC Trixy has made some friends who she plays with all day long, really she just never stops. So If you have another dog at home who is an older dog that will teach Trixy the right way on how to be a dog then that is definitely the ideal dog for our girl.
Kids who are okay around a young pup that is over the top excited to see them but also happy to have a run and play outside in the sunshine with her would be the best kind of kids, they will be able to grow up together and become the best of friends.
If you have the energy the keep up with this beautiful girl then give BARC a call. You don't want to miss out!!!
To book a meet and greet with Trixy please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
