About Nugget
Nugget is looking for his new home away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
This young pup has had a very hard start to life after being saved from a property at only 4 weeks old. Due to being separated from his mum and siblings too young, Nugget needs a dog experienced and understanding owner to continue his journey.
Nugget is a working breed mix that is very likely a kelpie cross. He looks like he will be a medium to large breed dog when fully grown. He's worried in busy environments so we think country life would suit him much better.
Nugget has been in foster with a family and 2 other dogs and we have found that he bonds quite heavily to one of two people and would do well with a female, adult dog who is dog social and tolerant of puppy play.
He loves cuddles and pats but would prefer to do some on his own terms. He's a timid boy who has shown great promise but will definitely need some support from his new family around this.
Nugget has grown up with cats and as long as management and supervision are in place, he could live with a feline or two. Nugget is not suitable to live with young children but could live with teenagers and adults.
We are offering the right person the chance of fostering to adopt Nugget so they can trial him in their home, whilst receiving support from us here at SCAR.
If you are interested in providing Nugget his second chance, then please apply through his profile today.
