About Mocha
Meet the chonky chubba baby girl Mocha
The solid little pup is a Labrador x Staffy blend with a loveable nature and heaps of cuddly potential
Mocha is a sweet, compassionate, and amusing dog. She is extremely curious about new things and is fascinated by her humans. Mocha adores spending time with her foster family and loves giving them toys to play fetch with. She enjoys discovering new places and going for walks. She especially appreciates going to the park, but when it comes to unwinding, she loves getting cozy with her humans and loves to watch TV. The lovable dog is constantly eager to meet new people and greets them with kisses and jumps.

Mocha's interaction with humans is different depending on the human. When someone looks a bit scary she will be shy but if they show affection she will be bubbly, joyful and loving. She never barks at humans but watches them carefully. When mocha gets carried away she can get overly excited and can be rough but is easy to calm down. Mocha has never been around young children but loves her teenagers.
. Sometimes she is able to sit and lay when listening properly but won't do it all the time. She is very well behaved when going for walks, she walks next to or right in front of you and doesnât ever drag her human. Mocha usually stops at your feet when seeing strangers running but she has never barked at anyone during any of her walks.
Mocha is currently staying with other dogs, she is bigger than them and can be a little rough in play as she has more weight behind her lol . She is fed separately as she doesn't like sharing her food with other dogs and usually growls at the dogs she shares food with. Mocha is a very playful dog but has only started playing with her toys as she's just learnt how to.
Mocha is a well behaved dog and is not destructive. When Mocha is left alone with the other foster dogs she will play and sleep with them outside. She loves to play on the grass area with the other dogs she is currently staying with. Mocha is outside for the majority of her day and she keeps herself occupied with toys, she has beds outside and loves to sleep in the sun.
Mocha loves having baths and will sit there while you wash her, she is very chill and doesnât try to jump out of the bath.
Mocha is currently sleeping in a big cage with lots of pillows, soft toys and blankets. She is usually put to bed around 10- 11 pm and is woken up at 7:45 am.
Mocha goes for a walk once a day morning or night. These walks usually last for 15-30 minutes. Before or after her walk mocha is usually running around her back yard. Mocha needs to have a walk everyday to keep her active.
Mocha is well behaved in the house but because she is an explorer she likes to snoop around from time to time. She is not yet toilet trained but lately has been crying at the door when needing to go outside. Mocha is not destructive at all but jumps on the couch from time to time.
Adoption Criteria
Mocha definitely need to be allowed inside when her family are home please
A home with a medium to large backyard with grass, shelter, and secure fencing.
A home with or without children, they must be dog savvy children who can handle puppy behavior. We seek kind and gentle mature children
A home with or without another dog.If another dog is in residence already we seek a Male of medium to large size who is well socialized and tolerant of puppy behavior and loves a good wrestle
A daily walk. Short walks while she is a puppy and her bones are developing. A moderate-long walk when is older and has more energy to burn.
A lot of love and training! Mocha should be welcomed as part of the family and not just left on her own in the backyard all the time. Her owner should dedicate time to training and take hr to puppy classes
Mocha is NOT good with cats
We recommend children in the home to have prior dog / puppy exposure before your family applies for a young pups
She will require proper puppy training. She is such a joy. As she grows and explores, she will need continuous training with commitment and patience and understanding from her new family. With that, she is going to be one fantastic addition to the family!
