🐴 About Bear

Bear is a lovely 13.1–13.2hh Australian Pony mare, approximately 20 years old. She has been ridden by smaller-statured riders in the past, but would need to be carefully brought back into work if riding were ever considered. These days, Bear is happiest as a paddock companion alongside her best friend, Bella.

Bear is a sweet-natured mare who loves her food, maintains her weight well and is in good overall health. She is well-mannered for the farrier and is an easy, pleasant companion to have around.

🌸 About Bella

Bella is a beautiful 16hh Thoroughbred mare, approximately 20 years old. As an ex-racehorse, she is no longer suitable for riding, but she has plenty of personality and loves human interaction.

Bella is polite to catch and stands well for the farrier. With an intermediate to experienced handler, she is a loyal and affectionate companion. She has happily lived in a herd environment and previously held the role of lead mare in a herd of 11 horses.

As a Thoroughbred, Bella requires additional hard feed to help maintain her condition, along with appropriate rugging and shelter.

💕 A Bonded Pair

Bear and Bella share a strong bond and must be rehomed together. They are looking for a peaceful retirement home where they can enjoy each other's company and live a comfortable life side by side.

They could be wonderful companions for someone looking for paddock pets, companions for other suitable horses, or simply two lovely mares to share their property with.
