Our sweet, sweet Sally is a 6 year old mixed breed. She is an absolute gentle sweetheart who is a real people dog. She loves her humans and is happy to be with you, snuggled up or just near you. She is a beautiful companion and everyone who meets her, just falls in love with her instantly.

Sally has come from an exceptionally loving and needs to find that again.

Sally is such a people lover that she has no time or love for other dogs so MUST be the only dog. Whilst she is fine to see other dogs on her walks, Sally is not an off leash dog park kinda gal. She does not like the unpredictability of these parks.

She does however love her daily walks and is wonderful on a lead. When crossing roads, she will sit and wait the command “walk” to cross the road. She loves going for car rides and is an amazing coffee shop companion for her human/s.

She is a very well trained girl. She loves hugs, likes to lean on her people and burrow her head between her people’s legs to get back rubs.

Sally is such a smart girl and knows the commands; shake, hi-5, sit, down and roll over. When it’s feed time, she will follow the command “sit” and will only go for her food once she hear you command her “OK”. 

Sally loves plush toys! When her humans come home from work, she will always grab the closest plush toy and run around with happiness.  

Her favourite snacks are whole carrots, cucumbers and broccoli stems. You would need to be careful of unattended whole raw chicken, it is Sally’s weakness! Her main diet is dog kibble, with additional cracked raw eggs and chicken necks.

Sally is looking for the most loving home with a high fenced backyard to keep her safe, a human/s who understands the needs of a large breed dog such as daily walks and unconditional love and where she is a member of the family, not just left alone in a backyard.

She is used to being an indoor/outdoor dog, happy to be in the yard if nobody is home but must be allowed inside and to sleep inside.

We would love to see Sally go to someone who is looking for a beautiful companion to do life with.

When meeting one of our animals in care, please remember that animals can take time to adjust to new people and environments no matter how friendly and loving they really are. We ask you to keep this in mind when meeting them at meet ‘n’ greets (and when you take them home) and not rule them out straight away just because they are not all over you at the first meeting. You could miss out on the most wonderful companion. 💖
