Bobby - 9 Month Old Catahoula X (Trial)

I’m a young 9 month old male with the smoking looks of Marlon Brando, the heart of Keane Reeves, and the energy and fun of Jim Carey (think the movie the mask).

I had a challenging start to life, and have “done my time” in the shelter. My foster mum has taught me how to sit, come, respond to my name and also where and when to toilet, which is not in the house. Who knew!

I walk well on the lead, sniffy walks are the best. Met a cat…not interested in them. Love dogs though! I have more energy than a solar panel, and love zoomies, but will spend hours curled up on the sofa just snuggling.

Like most large dogs I’m not really aware of my size or strength so perhaps till I grow up a bit a family with young children might not be my style. I will need a forever family who can continue my training, and help me be the star I know I am. I’m confident enough to enjoy my own company and don’t have separation anxiety if you need to spend time at work.

**A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MY HISTORY**

I’ve gone through a lot of ruff changes in my 9 months so I’ll give you the run down!

I was found as a stray in the bush by the local ranger, they said I had been spray painted by somebody!

I couldn’t find much food growing up so I was really skinny and malnourished. As I wasn’t strong, my skin got infected and I lost most of my hair, it was awful and so so itchy!

Dog Rescue Newcastle saved me from the pound, treated my skin and introduced me to their vet. I’m feeling better now with most of my hair grown back and I'm a healthy 28kg! My foster mum says that she is super proud of me and how far i've come in a short period of time.

I’ll provide the best dog you could ever want, with looks to turn heads and a personality that you can’t help but love. If you can provide love, food, security and a warm place to snuggle/ sleep I think we can sign a contract!

Bobby is in care in Newcastle, NSW and is available for interstate adoption. His adoption fee is $500, and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
