Susie

Meet Susie!

She's been hand-reared and is very confident around humans. Once she gets to know you she loves nothing more than to perch on your shoulders and nuzzle in for kisses.

Susie has been an inside bird having an indoor enclosure set up with free-flight exercise around the house for enrichment and to stretch her wings.
Susie is looking for an indoor home where she will be made to feel part of the family as she adores human company.

Suse is an eclectus parrot - they make fantastic companion pets as they are loyal and intelligent. They require a bit of upkeep so research is a must before committing to these beautiful birds as their life span is roughly 45 years.

Diet recommendations are:
60% premium commercial parrot pelleted diet with added 20% fruit, 15% quality commercial seed mix, and 5% treats for training.

Enrichment:
Captive parrots require lots of enrichment including - toys (destructible and non-destructible), mist sprays, swings/mirrors, native flora for their pen and they love to work their brain with training and puzzles.

Everyone who meets Susie falls in love with her and is quickly becoming a staff favourite. Please chat to the staff if you think Susie might be the perfect companion for you!
