About Coleslaw
What a cool pup this boy is!
Coleslaw is an all-round great puppy. He is such a happy boy who is always up for some fun. Coleslaw has an affectionate nature and is the first of his litter to wander over, climb into your lap and soak up some cuddles. He also likes a nice belly rub if you don’t mind! When visitors come around, he is keen to say hello and make new friends. Coleslaw thoroughly enjoys playing with his toys. Whether it be chasing a ball, playing tug of war or shaking the fluffy toy as fast as he can – he just loves having a good time.
While in foster care, Coleslaw is living with his 4 siblings and two adult dogs. Like a typical puppy, he enjoys playing with his siblings, but he also enjoys running around with the adult dogs. Coleslaw is expected to grow to a medium size (we anticipate in the range of 15-20kg). He will be a moderately active dog who will require daily exercise and mental stimulation. Coleslaw is a very versatile puppy who will be able to adapt to whatever is thrown at him with the right human by his side. He travels well in the car and will be a great companion to take with you for adventures or just the usual daily activities.
This smart boy is ready to learn and is food motivated. He quickly learned to sit and when introduced to new environments he is curious. Like any puppy, he will require positive socialisation and training throughout his development to enable him to reach his full potential. Coleslaw should be exposed to a range of people and places in a controlled manner to make him confident everywhere. He should also engage in training such as group obedience classes. Coleslaw would benefit from crate training at home and his new family need to be ready to continue his toilet training.
We are looking for a dog experienced home for Coleslaw where he will be a loved member of the family and included in the day to day activities. He would love a home with a friendly adult dog who was already through all the basic training. Otherwise, Coleslaw is fine to be an only dog as long as his new owners are prepared to guide him through the transition period to settle him in properly to new routines. He should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed to sleep on at night. It is expected that Coleslaw will be fine to live with children who are dog savvy and confident with typical puppy behaviours like jumping up. He is also young enough to be integrated with other types of pets given the right training and guidance. Coleslaw is a wonderful puppy who is going to make a wonderful addition to his new home.
If you would like to make this gorgeous pup a part of your family, then you will need to complete a Dog Adoption Enquiry form on the Fetching Dogs website. Please include plenty of details about your current household members, previous dog experience and the type of lifestyle you can offer Coleslaw.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
