Milly

Hello, my name is Milly and I'm a sweet little girl looking for a new family to love me.

I'm a small lady, but don't let that fool you. I'm still young and I will need exercise and enrichment to live my best life. I'll be happy to snuggle with you as well though!

I've had a very sheltered start to life, so whoever adopts me needs to be prepared to help introduce to the world. I need a patient home where I can be given time to feel safe and learn all about the world. I need to learn confidence with people, as I have not had a lot of formal handling so I am a quite timid. This is especially important because I will have grooming needs to keep my coat looking good! I haven't spent a lot of time out on walks so that is something else I will need to learn about. I would like to go on daily walks to check out my neighbourhood with you. I would be best suited to a house or unit with a small yard for me to chill out in if you're not home, but when you're there, I will want to be inside with you.

I will need a lot of training, and this includes toilet training, so being able to go inside and outside would be great! I've lived with other dogs before, so I may be happy living with a calm, friendly desexed companion. I would need to meet them first though! As I am timid, a home with adults and older children would be best for me. Young kids will probably be too overwhelming.
