Hi hi hi, my name is Macaroni and I'm looking for my furever home!

I'm a 1 year old Australian Cattle Dog looking for an owner that knows all about my breed as us Cattle Dogs are super smart and full of beans, if I do say so myself. Because we are so energetic and love having a job to do, it is important my owner understands the mental and physical needs I have. I would love long daily walks or two and be provided with lots of mental stimulation through enrichment to keep my doggy brain busy. Some of my favourite enrichment items are snuffle mats, kongs, boxes and long lasting chews. These also help me decompress and help me stay nice and relaxed as it tires my doggy brain out - who would have thought?

Ideally I am looking for a home with no children under 6 as too much noise and stimulation in a home can stress me out - I hope you understand. I really enjoy pats and the company of people but also love my own space too. Children don't always know when to give me space so a more mature household would be pawfecto for me!

Whilst in care, I don't particularly enjoy my kennel so I have learnt to be really good at hanging out by myself and chilling in a grass yard relaxing in the sun. I would really love if my future home would allow me to have both indoor and outdoor access so that I am able to continue doing this and have more areas in the home where I can choose to chill out on my own or be with my forever people. During my time in shelter I've also met a few doggy friends and am quite the social butterly. So if you have another dog at home, please bring them in so we can ensure it is a pawfect match!
