Hi! We are Coco and Chanel and we are looking for a new family to call our own.

NOTE: You are unable to meet Coco and Chanel until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Coco and Chanel in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.


What we need in our new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with our family
• Another doggie playmate who is gentle and calm may be okay as boisterous dogs scare us so we will require lots of socialisation with positive experiences with other dogs.
• We like both friendly but calm male and female dogs
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep our teeth clean
• A family who promise to keep us well groomed and brush us regularly so we are always looking and feeling our best
• Lots of love and attention
• Socialization is very important as we appear to have lived a very sheltered life so taking us to meet lots of different people and animals would be highly beneficial.
• A dog savvy cat may be ok

Things that we don't want in our new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with our family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• To be separated from one another
• Young children under 5yrs as they may scare us. Older children who will be involved in my training should be ok. May be suited better to a more mature household.

Our best features:
• We love attention and having snuggles with our humans
• Happy to hang out with other calm friendly dogs
• We love attention, hugs, kisses & head scratches
• We love our treats.

Where we need to improve / Training required
• We need further Socialization as we can be timid when first meeting you so will need someone who is willing to take there time to get to know us.
• We may show signs of anxiety when left alone, however as long as we have each other we appear to be happy.
• We appear to be quiet vocal at times when separated from one another - a family who has a lot of time for us, allows us indoors and leaves us with lots of mental enrichment when home alone is recommended
• We appear to need further toilet training as we do tend to have a few accidents when inside.
• We require further lead training but lots of practice on a harness should make us much better when going for walks.
