About Jordie
Introducing Jordie. Jordie is a somewhat shy little gal who'll need to be started in a small launch room and allowed time to settle in before allowing to explore the rest of the house, as she can become easily overwhelmed in large open spaces. Some good ideas include: Scratch posts/Cat trees, hides (like cardboard boxes and cat igloos), access to shelves/dressers to provide ample safe spaces, both high and low, all around the house. It's recommended Jordie be adopted to a patient and understanding family who can recognize that she will be timid going into a new environment and may take a little while to settle in before she shows her true self! It's preferable to have teens or older children in the home rather than little ones as she can become easily overwhelmed. Jordie appears to be cat social and will chirp and chat away to other cats here at the Centre. A slow introduction to any other cats you might have, would be a great idea. On another note, Jordie loves tunnels and zooming around once she's found her Brave, so some play equipment that allow for tunneling might support her with her transition to her new home.
