Meet Milo Melt. This happy little dude will melt your heart when you meet him. He is a sweet as sugar little fluff ball with a big personality.
Milo Melts is a stocky little Jack Russell x Pom weighing in at 11 kilos.
He's a lovable little dude with an affectionate and very loving temperament and a need to learn personal space when it comes to affection. lol as he can want to sit on your knee right up close and personal…
Milo Melts adores his walks and playing ball but his idea of a perfect time is snuggling on the couch while you watch TV.
He plays well with other dogs but does tend to be a bit vocal while playing chase and again has no personal space and when they are not looking he will sneak his head in their mouth for a teeth lick .. ewww lol
Milo enjoys outside time in the sun playing by himself but can hear everything in the neighborhood and will bark at times so apartments or small yards are probably not suited.
This gorgeous little fella would suite a semi retired or couple seeking a new addition to the family

Independence
Milo will happily play outside on his own but does prefer to be an inside dog. He will bark at a few things as he has impeccable hearingHe loves treat toys to keep himself entertained or a nice bone.
Interactions with Animals
Milo has been observed to get along well with small and large dogs and loves a good came of chase and can bark while running after them. When on lead and she sees other dogs he does like to bark a hello and will stand on his back legs. He has visited a dog park and enthusiastically played with other dogs. He seems to be relatively polite but can try to hump other dogs at times. If Milo is to be adopted by a home with another dog we are definitely seeking a home with a tolerant dog as we said Milo can be a bit humpy and loves to lick teeth lol
We have not tested him with cats

Human Interaction
But what Milo loves most is attention from people and to be part of whatever you are doing. He loves to try and sit on your knee and be as close as possible for a cuddle. He is a gorgeous dog and will make a fantastic family dog.
We feel Milo would be great for teenage kids but have not had him with small children

Obedience
Milo will sit immediately for a treat . He also comes when called
As he is such a young boy Milo has plenty of opportunity to be taught so many things

Hygiene and toileting
As per the pic Milo loves a good warm bath and tolerates the blow drier.
He is not completely toilet trained and has had the odd accident inside but he is learning and he is taken outside regularly and before bed. He has a fluffy coat which will need brushing regularly and may need a good groom in the warmer months
Sleeping
He has been sleeping in the laundry as he does consider it his duty to be on alert at all times. He goes to bed about 10.30 and wakes at 7.30.
Independence

Exercise
Milo looks forward to his daily walk, he sometimes isn't a fan of putting his harness on ! Cheeky boy. He loves heading out for a sniff of the daily news. He enjoys the company of other dogs and had played with big and small dogs and enjoys being able to chase a furry friend so an area like a quiet dog park or secure oval would be a great place for him to stretch his legs
Milo absolutely loves his toys and will happily play by himself as well as chase his ball. He is still very much a puppy so can be mischievous but his training has come a long way in a short time.

Travel
Milo travels well in the car, happy just to rest in the back seat secured with a seatbelt or he will sneak into the front

Food
Milo is a little foodie, and loves liver treats for training. Milo has an evening meal of Diamond Care and Black Hawk dry food and Prime 100 wet food plus his training treats. He was quite overweight on his arrival but is excellent now

Inside the home
Inside the home Milo likes to follow you around, hang out with you on the couch, He's a pretty chilled dude inside the house He definitely prefers to be inside than out

Ideal home. / Adoption Criteria
Theodore doesn't need a large yard but does need a yard to play and sunbake in
Children in the home are fine but we seek gentle loving, kind dog savvy children of mature ages
A home that are prepared to take him on his daily walk as he just loves it
A home where he is allowed inside and will continue on his toilet training
A home with another dog is fine but please read earlier notes
A home that will shower Milo with affection as he is such a living little boy.
