Meet Jack the Gentleman! 🧔‍♂️

Jack is a striking 6 year old world class athlete involving anything with a tennis ball. Usain Bolt who?

Jack has found his way back to Happy Tails due to no fault of his own - his sweet and gentle nature saw him get bullied by another dog.

Jack loves nothing more then to carry his wide array toys around in his mouth all day, every day. During the day he loves a run and often if he is on a walk you will find him wanting to be let free just to run on the oval after  you guessed it, a tennis ball.

As anyone who knows the breed knows he is active and needs to be mentally stimulated. He has been keeping this up with 'find it' games and loves puzzles.

After a hard day of being good looking, he will find his favourite spot on the couch, affectionally known as 'Jacks Spot'. Where you will have trouble prying him off until the AM. This spot is usually where he demands belly rubs, continually.

Not much is known about Jacks history other than he ended up in a rural pound all alone however, it's safe to say this 6 year old has plenty of life and love to get. He does willingly jump into a kennel and will spend time in there happily with his toy.

This sweet baby isn't a fan of raised voices and can retreat if he hears someone yelling.
He is also concerned if someone uninvited is walking past his yard, how dare they.

Jack also has an excellent vocal range which he likes to share with the emergency services sirens! 🚨

He is very much loved and will need someone or a family who can give him just as much. Ideally, with other dogs or a single person who would be home with him. 🥹

Jack doesn't know what personal space is and may be too much for a small child. Jack isn't much of a fan of thunderstorms (not that we get them much) but as long as he knows he has access to his safe space (a crate, spot on the couch or kennel) then he is happy as Larry.
