Gertie - 2 Year Old French Bulldog (Trial)

Introducing Gertie, a two year old Tri merle French bulldog with the most captivating eyes.

Gertie is on the lookout for her forever home, she is the sweetest girl who is eager to please, and wants nothing but your attention. She is a small size French Bulldog with a soft, coat of fur that is sure to keep you warm when she snuggles with you. Her favourite thing is sitting on your lap and doing zoomies. She will need a family who are home more than not to make sure she has lots of comfort and cuddles!

Due to Gertie not having much exposure in her life, she hasn’t had much training and is unsure on how to sit and a little jumpy when meeting new people so we suggest children aged 6 and above. She is a lovely dog but doesn't like when people make sudden and big moves around her! She doesn't like water much so will need some understanding and patience.

She is crate trained and eager to learn new things and would need someone to support her through learning the way of life which includes toilet training. Gertie has had to undergo palate surgery due to her lack of breathing, but has no other health issues.

Gertie is a quiet dog who doesn’t bark, she needs someone understanding of her past and deserves a family who can take her everywhere and give her the attention that she missed out on in her first few years.

She is great with other dogs and would do well with another doggy companion to play and learn from.

She would make a wonderful addition to any family.

Gertie is in foster care in Hamilton North, NSW. Her adoption fee is $1,400.
