About Starla Speranza
TO APPLY FOR ADOPTION PLEASE SEND IN APPLICATION FORM AVAILABLE BELOW:
https://www.victoriandogrescue.org.au/adopt/
Victorian Dog Rescue has a 30-day full refund guaranteed if the adoption is not successful, plus a lifetime take back guarantee and support for the life of for the pet.
Starla is a typical cat and does life on her own terms. She loves exploring, including cupboards and wardrobes. Starla isn't overly into playing, although she will play for a short time with the laser. She does regular zoomies up and down the hallway, which is where Starla gets most of her exercise.
Starla is a heat seeker. She will always be found in the spot that is the warmest. Starla loves being wrapped up like a burrito in her blanket at night and sometimes spends time sunning herself on the kitchen windowsill during the day. She is not a snuggly cat but still sleeps with her foster carer every night. She is just starting to become a lap cat on the odd occasion, sometimes sharing a lap with her sister Ella-Bella.
Starla is very vocal at times, with a sweet little meow, especially just after dinner when she explores the wardrobe in the bedroom. She'll let you know if she wants something!
Starla is litter trained.
Starla will be rehomed with her sister, Ella-Bella Speranza. Her ideal home will be where she will be left to do her own thing, in her own time. A home with lots of windows and glass doors so she can watch the world go by and a home that gets lots of sun spots!
Starla cannot wait to meet her new family.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer free assistance for six weeks for any issues, a lifetime takeback policy with full refund of the adoption fee, and will always be available to offer advice.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.

Please note that we do not take/make telephone calls prior to receiving an application.
Commonly asked questions and their answers are provided when you email us. We look forward to receiving your application.
