About Ralph - 1.5 Year Old Chihuahua (Hold 24/9/23)
How could 2.5 kg of dog be this much fun?
Meet Ralph, an 18 month old desexed Chihuahua.
A lover of life, this little boy would be content just hanging with his person/people all day long.
Being dog social and walking well on a leash, this boy is destined for the outdoors and to accompany you on most of your outings and adventurers. He travels very well and is well behaved in the car.
Ralphie loves hanging and playing with the big boy dogs but also enjoys his own size as well.
Ralph absolutely loves kids but due to his size would be better suited to older children.
Although crate trained for evenings, he would prefer snuggling with you and wont get up until you do.
His toilet training has come along really well but he does occasionally mark a little. This may be due to having 3 male dogs that frequent our home.
Ralph does have some quirks -
Ralph will bark and cry if left alone for hours despite having another dog for company so no full time workers.
He can be a bit snappy toward other dogs when he’s sitting on your lap.
He considers himself a watchdog and will alert you and all the resident dogs in his soprano voice.
Pros
- Ralph would love to go everywhere with you…could make a great companion for travelling nomads
- Due to his size you can carry him ie shopping etc
-Dog and people social
- Walks well on leash
Ralph will not suit fulltime workers or to be just a companion dog for your existing dog.
Due to his size or lack of…we do not recommend he be taken to dog parks
Ralph is in foster care in Swansea, NSW. His adoption fee is $800.
