About Mace
Mace is an independent, happy and sweet baby boy who may or may not grow into those adorable wrinkles. He is content creating his own entertainment or interacting with those around him.
It's suspected Mace is a staffy x shar pei that will grow to be a muscular, medium size dog that will require daily exercise and enrichment throughout his life. Hiking adventures, group classes, play dates with other friendly dogs will all be great outlets for Mace.
It's important that whoever adopts Mace is invested in ongoing training, including puppy school which will be important for his ongoing socialisation. He wouldn't mind a home with another confident, well socialised dog or alternatively as the only dog with humans around more often than not.
MY IDEAL HOME: Mace is looking for a home where he has access inside and out as he pleases with humans around more often than not. Whilst experience with Bull breeds is not essential, it certainly wouldn't go astray.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Mace is only a wee baby so does like a snooze but as he grows he will require a moderate amount of exercise. Daily walks will be a must, as well as interactive play (he loves to chase a ball) and daily training.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Mace is fine with children but it's important to note that he can play a little rough so older, dog savvy kids are likely the best fit.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Mace currently lives in a multi-animal household, he is young enough to likely be able to transition into a home with dogs or cats with the right guidance.

Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
